Before embracing their passion of producing films, Joanna and Marc worked as top executives for international media groups.

Marc's long-life love for cinema made him rescue and rebuild with Marc Bonny Comoedia, the mythic 6 screen art-house in Lyon. With his company Fondivina, he produced several films and feature documentaries, working with, among others, Eric Guirado, Abderrahmane Sissako and Andrzej Zulawski. In 2011 Fondivina extended its activity to movie theatres distribution. Marc distributed in France Jacek Borcuch’s “All that I love”, Rafael Lewandowski’s “Kret”, Anne Emond’s “Nuit#1” and Anca Damian’s “Crulic, ‘the path to beyond”.

Prior to setting up their common venture Komintern, Joanna and Marc developed the interactive brand Anooki created by Moetu Batlle and David Passegand into an animated series which they produced for FranceInfo. Together they also produced animation part created by Nadia Micault for the acclaimed and largely autobiographical Polish film "Chemo" by Bartek Prokopowicz.
